Airports 24/7

Terms of Service

Effective 19 September 2026. Last updated 19 September 2026.

1. Acceptance

These terms govern your use of the Airports 24/7 live stream and its interactive features, including chat commands and viewer requests (together, “the service”). By using the service you agree to these terms and to the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the interactive features.

2. YouTube

The service is delivered through YouTube and is built on YouTube API Services. By using the service, you are also agreeing to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's handling of your data is governed by the Google Privacy Policy. Where these terms and YouTube's terms conflict, YouTube's terms take precedence in respect of the YouTube platform.

You may revoke the service's access to your Google account data at any time through https://security.google.com/settings/security/permissions.

3. What the service is

A continuous live broadcast of aircraft movements from cameras installed at airports, with live air traffic control audio and information overlays. It is an independent project run by one person, provided for enjoyment and interest.

It is not an operational tool. Nothing on this stream may be used for flight planning, navigation, separation, spotting clearance, emergency response, security, or any other operational or safety-of-life purpose. Video is delayed, cameras miss things, overlays can be wrong or stale, and the audio is an incidental reception of public radio traffic. Do not rely on it for anything that matters.

4. Chat commands

Commands are typed in YouTube live chat and prefixed with !. When you use one, you agree that:

Breaking these terms may result in a warning, a temporary or permanent bar on using commands, or a report to YouTube. These measures are applied to your YouTube channel identifier, so changing your display name does not lift them. The operator's decision is final, and no refund arises from enforcement (see section 6).

5. Requests are advisory

A request — free, community-backed, or paid — asks a camera to do something. It is not a guarantee that it will happen. Cameras operate autonomously and may decline any request, including because the camera is already tracking a subject, cannot see the subject, is out of position, is unavailable, or because weather, light, or airport activity make the view impossible. The operator may also decline a request that is unsafe, unlawful, invasive of privacy, or contrary to the wishes of the airport hosting the camera.

The cameras point at aircraft and airport infrastructure. Requests to point a camera at a person, a private property, a vehicle, or anything not related to aircraft movement will be refused.

6. Paid requests

Paid requests are not currently offered. No payment is accepted by the service today. This section describes the terms that will apply if and when that tier opens; it will be updated and dated before any payment is taken.

When offered, a paid request will buy a place in a priority queue — nothing more. It does not buy a guaranteed outcome, a guaranteed time, an exclusive view, editorial control over the stream, or any ownership of the footage produced. If a paid request cannot be carried out for any of the reasons in section 5, the operator will either attempt an equivalent request or credit the amount back, at the operator's discretion. Payments will be handled by a third-party payment processor; the service will not receive or store card details. Credits and balances hold no cash value, are not transferable, and expire if the service ceases operation.

7. Air traffic control audio

Audio carried on the stream is received from publicly available air traffic control radio feeds. It is broadcast as received, incidentally and without editing, for interest. It is not verified, not complete, and not a record of anything. Controllers and pilots heard on it are performing a public duty and are not participants in this project.

8. Content and intellectual property

The video, overlays, and site content are the operator's, except for material owned by others and used with permission. You may not rebroadcast, restream, or redistribute the stream, in whole or in part, or use it commercially, without written permission. Personal clips, screenshots, and sharing of YouTube links are welcome and encouraged.

Anything you type in chat may be displayed on the stream, in its overlays, and in the recording of the broadcast, which is public and persists.

9. Availability

The service is provided as-is and as-available, with no warranty of any kind. It is a personal project running on home and remote equipment: it will go down, cameras will fail, and features will change or be withdrawn without notice. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for any loss arising from use of, or inability to use, the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

10. Changes and termination

These terms may be updated; the effective date above will change when they are, and continued use after that constitutes acceptance. The operator may suspend or end the service, or any individual's access to its interactive features, at any time.
